The last gasp winner was animated to commemorate the 5 year anniversary of a momentous sporting occasion, for publication on Unscriptd’s social media channels.

Manchester City score twice in stoppage time of the final game of the 2011-12 English Premier League season to steal the premier league trophy from cross town rivals Manchester United in spectacular fashion.
In the dying embers of injury-time, Sergio Aguero collected the ball from Mario Balotelli on the edge of the box before rounding Nedum Onuoha and slamming it past Paddy Kenny to give City their first title in 44 years and spark pandemonium at the Etihad.

Unscriptd filmed a series of interviews with Liverpool FC captain Jordan Henderson, discussing some of his most notable goals. Since they did not hold the rights to use any match footage, I was asked to recreate these goals in animated form.

Helped by a Jordan Henderson wonderstrike, Liverpool were able to best second-place Manchester City 2-1 in a Premier League matchup at Anfield. The amazing goal helped Liverpool come away with three points in a match between two squads jostling for position around the top of the league table.

With Liverpool leading 1–0 in the first half at Stamford Bridge, Henderson curled in a shot from well outside the box to give the Reds a 2–0 lead. The goal ultimately proved to be the winner, as Chelsea pulled one back in the second half but was unable to equalize.

Jordan Henderson scores his first goal for Liverpool as they went top of the Premier League with a deserved victory over Bolton.
Luis Suarez sent over a cross from the left flank with the outside of his right foot and Downing met it with a stunning volley that Jussi Jaaskelainen superbly kept out at full stretch. The ball fell to Henderson, who at the second attempt found the top right-hand corner of the net from 12 yards with a fine left-footed curling strike.

It would be Mesut Özil who once again haunted the Bulgarian side, his hat-trick at the Emirates two weeks’ previous still fresh in their memory.
Breaking free to run onto a Mohamed Elneny through pass, Özil chips the ball over Milan Borjan’s head, controls the bounce and dummies his way past two defenders before sliding the ball home and booking Arsenal’s place in the last-16.
