Visual effects for Back to the Future The Musical Sydney launch

For the Sydney launch of Back to the Future The Musical, I was responsible for creating VFX and compositing for promotional content used across theatres in Sydney. Working from a supplied edit from the team at Replay Studio, the brief was to capture the energy and recognisable visual language of the original film while grounding it in an iconic Sydney setting.

I created and composited a lightning strike effect onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge, adding electrical arcs and atmospheric enhancements to mirror the dramatic power surge sequence made famous in Back to the Future. The result was a high-impact launch visual that blended nostalgia with local spectacle.
