Cyclone preparedness TV commercials for Territory Insurance Office in Darwin

I animated a pair of television commercials encouraging cyclone readiness across Australia’s Top End. The campaign reflects on the legacy of Cyclone Tracy while connecting it to present-day preparation.

Using a “then and now” structure, the spots contrast past and modern homes to show that while environments change, preparedness does not. Animation and sound were handled carefully to convey seriousness without causing distress, particularly for audiences with lived experience of the event.
